 Kunihiko Ikuhara●ProfileKunihiko Ikuhara was born in Japan. He majored in graphics design at college. In 1986, he went to Tokyo and joined Toei Animation, the biggest animation production in japan. After taking charge as assistant director for several series, Ikuhara became the director for TV series in 1990. He directed "Sailor Moon ", which became a great hit in Japan in 1992. In 1993, he directed the movie "Sailor Moon R". He continued with the TV series "Sailor Moon", until 1996, when he met up with Chiho Saito, a shoujo manga artist. It was at that time that he decided to produce a new work with her. |

| After leaving Toei Animation, he created "Be-papas", an image planning company. Using Chiho Saito's characters he directed "Shoujo Kakumei Utena" in 1997 and the movie "Adolescence Mokushiroku" in
